Stella Tennant for Reed Krakoff

Love the imagery of the latest Reed Krakoff advertisements, featuring English beauty, Stella Tennant.
First of all.....love her hair!(It's kinda chopped off in this pic, but trust me, it looks amazing). Yes, being a hairstylist.....this is the first thing that I look at. Love the dark hue and short cut.

Secondly, I love the bag and gold dress she's wearing. I had seen this ad before, but didn't realize that Reed Krakoff is the mastermind behind catapulting "Couch" into a billion dollar company. Now, he's branching out, (under his own name) and creating a ready to wear line of clothing, shoes and handbags. Looks like his minimalistic creations have been well received by the fashion crowd.

Finally, I LOVE the wallpaper in the background of this ad. I would totally do a powder room in this print! Really, I can't stop thinking about this wallpaper.....I want to get my hands on some!!!

Britney for V-magazine

I love the light, airy pictures of Britney Spears.....who graces the latest cover of V magazine. In her interview she is quoted as saying "the bitch is back and better than ever"!

Doesn't she look pretty in these pics. It's nice not to see pictures of bad extensions that have been plaguing Britney for a while now. Let's hope that she continues looking so fresh and glamorous.

Victoria Beckham- Vogue UK

Victoria Beckham graces the cover of the February edition of Vogue UK.  I have to say that I love the softness of the cover; we don't usually see her in this kind of light.  I think that she looks really pretty. I will be definitely heading by the newsstands today to pick this up!

Winter Weddings

Winter Weddings are becoming more and more popular. Some couples like the winter, other find it more affordable. Whatever the reason, "winter weddings" can be very beautiful! I'm still doing quite a bit of wedding hair at the salon these days. And let me tell you, these "winter brides" are looking beautiful!!!!

H&M magazine winter 2010

I'm always impressed by the content in the free, quarterly issues of H&M magazine. Sure, there's a lot of content about H&M (obviously), but there's also articles on what's going on in world-class cities such as: New York, London and Paris. This edition also featured a look inside the party scenes of places like Stockholm and Sydney! Love it!!!
The last page featured "12 quick questions", with Joan Smalls. Beautiful model from Peurto Rico. They were right on the money with this one, as Joan was just signed on with Estee Lauder.
I don't know if the stores have any of these magazines left.......but you should get your hands on one! Enjoy!

NYC....how I miss thee....

My camera, unfortunately died...and I didn't have my charger, So, I was unable to take a lot of photos. But you definitely get the feeling of the kind of energy that is in NYC from these couple of pics. Such s great city!!!

BRAIDS!!!!

Braiding has been hot for a while and it doesn't look like its going to stop. Lots of upstlyes are incorporating braids for both fun and elegant looks.
Looking at these pics, makes me want my long hair back!!!

Essie Winter Collection.

I have to say that I just LOVE Essie's new Winter nail polish collection.

The colours are bang on for what's hot this season. I don't usually go "ga-ga" over nail polishes, but  I think that I will be purchasing almost all of this collection! The swatch of "smokin hot", does not do it justice. Very nice grey....which is hot for fall. Luxedo is beautiful too!
Essie, (in my opinion) used to be really boring..... but they seem to have come a long way. Especially with their last couple of collections. The product is of  high quality too! What do you think? Do you like Essie or OPI better?

New Boots

These are my new boots for Fall. (At least until I go to NYC in late NOV)! I ended up getting them in black, because I wear so much black and grey at work......but I love the brown too!!! Oh, what's a girl to do?
