AAU show NYC spring 2012

I had the pleasure of working on the makeup team for the AAU spring 2012 show. AAU
(Academy of Art) is a University based in New York City, that shows it's collection along side other big designers at the Lincoln Center tents.
The look for this seasons collection was a modern neutral palette for the eyes, and a very soft natural lip.
Here are a few pics from the show!

Dior....who will be it's next designer?

Now that his reign at Dior is apparently over, who will take over from John Galliano as the next King or Queen at Dior??? Who do you think it should be?

Celebrity Home Decor#1

If you're like me,.... you love to look inside the homes of celebrities. Especially, to see how they've decorated them. Here are a few pics of celeb and designers rooms that I just love. Hope you enjoy! It really makes me want to re-paint my whole apartment!!!

The first one is the living room of fashion model, Jessica Stam. I just love the colour palette..... SO pretty and fresh.

Next we have the living room of "Sex and the City" author, Candace Bushnell. Love a great bookcase! Not to mention that great chaise!

Here's what fashion designers Gilles Mendel's bedroom looks like. HOT!

Check out fashion designers Nanette Lapore's bedroom looks like. (This is my fave pic).

Lastly, we have celebrity hairstylist Frederic Fekkai's living room.

Kate Moss- Longchamp

I LOVE the Longchamp ads featuring Kate Moss and the handbags she designed for the company. Really, she looks fabulous and she seems to be quite a talented designer. First Topshop, and now Longchamp....what will be next?

Stells and Co's Oscar run-down

So, really this is all about the dresses. Who wore what and how they did or did not pull it off. My two fav's were Sandra Bullock and Demi Moore. Both women looked fantastic and age-appropriate. Neither women looked like they were trying too hard, they just looked naturally sexy.

Now a lot of critics were bashing Miley Cyrus's choice in an evening gown. But I have to say, that I quite liked her dress. The only thing that throws me off is that her head looks bigger than her waist.....but besides that I thought that she looked really good. What do you think? Who was your favourite?
