What happened to Rose McGowan?

I used to think that Rose McGowan was so unbelievably pretty. I happened to see a somewhat recent pic of her online and she looks totally different. It appears that she has had some botched plastic surgery...... and I'm thinking...."Why did she have work done to her face in the first place"? Wow, it's kind of scary.
