Caroline Hirons

I really have been obsessing lately over Caroline Hirons YouTube videos. She's a well known skincare expert in the UK and I love her no BS approach to skincare. Here is a pic (from her blog) of some of her favourite skin care items. I haven't tried ANY of these.....but I want them ALL!!!
http://www.carolinehirons.com/
Check her out. She has lots of helpful suggestions for beautiful skin. It's making me rethink what I'm using to see if it's actually benefiting my skin. What are some new (or tried and true) skincare items you're loving write now? Leave a comment below!
BTW, I also would like this book by beauty writer Sali Hughes. Have you read it?

Tattoo 2014

I've been gathering some different images of "floral" type designs,  to drawl inspiration from for my next tattoo.  This particular tattoo is going to be a coverup job, so it has to be perfect. It been quite inspiring actually.

MAC's new collection

MAC's latest makeup collection, dubbed "Temperature Rising" has been out in stores, for a couple of days now. (Here in Canada, anyways). I'm going tomorrow to check out all the goodies in person. I hope that all the collection hasn't sold-out!!

The Cutout

One of the big fashion trends for Spring 2013, is the Cutout.
Some of these looks that were shown on the runways may not be suitable for everyday life, but would look killer for a night out. Here are some of my favorites:

Love this dress from Saint Laurent

Cheeky cutouts at Carven

Another look at the Carven show

Beautiful in white at Emilio Pucci

Fresh for Spring at Richard Chai Love

What do you think of this trend for Spring 2013?
Will you be wearing the Cutout look this Spring/Summer?

Makeup Brushes

Today, I wanted to write about makeup brushes. I am in serious need of updating my makeup kit and know that I will have to purchase some new makeup brushes.
When I first started building my kit....it was all about MAC makeup for me. And while they do have a good assortment of brushes, I realize that there are MANY more companies that carry great alternatives.

I obviously love blogging about all things beauty, and would love to hear what other makeup lovers have or want for their kits. So.....what makeup brushes are you currently obsessed with? Please leave a comment below and let me know!

Weddings and stuff....

I don't know if I have ever posted about weddings here at Stells and Co, so I thought I should!
Thanks to the ever amazing site Pinterest, we can all peruse online for hours searching for the perfect dress, ring, bouquet etc.

I'm not getting married any time soon, but I thought that I would share some amazing sites I've found along the way.....

Check out the super cool site East Side Bride. Obsessed.

The excitement I feel when looking through the vintage rings at Trumpet and Horn is beyond something I'd even care to admit. I LOVE this company. Check them out.
The pic above is a Trumpet and Horn vintage ring. I die.

Catbird is another really cool website. I feel that in the very near future... I will be purchasing some non- wedding jewelery from them!
This Lauren Wolf ring can be found on Catbird's site.

Jannie Baltzer has such beautiful wedding hair pieces. So pretty.

Dresses? My personal favourite wedding designers are.....
Jenny Packman
If money was no object and I was getting married..... this is the dress I would wear.

I also LOVE Reem Acra dresses like the one below...

I also have a little obsession with everything Temperley London.
I'm sure that there are many more affordable wedding dress designers, that do amazing work. If you know of any you'd recommend then feel free to leave a comment below.

Hope you dig my wedding post. Congrats to all the new brides to be!

Cara Delevinge

How beautiful is model Cara Delevinge?I love her trademark full brows. Cara was named the BFA's Model of the Year in Fall 2012, and I can totally see why. Her sister Poppy is a model as well. I guess good looks run in the family!!
