Dreaming of NYC...

I'll be heading down to New York City at the end of November. I go with the same great girlfriends every year and (since we missed our annual spring trip) I'm dieing with anticipation!

Two stores I simply love to shop when I'm in NYC is Topshop, (no surprise there) and Uniqlo.

I can't wait to see this +J line. Hope it's still there when I arrive. Love this model's hair too! It reminds me of when I had extensions in. I love messy hair. (When it's cool messy, with lots of disconnection).

Topshop Desires

I'm still hoping that Topshop will open a full "stand-alone" store in Toronto soon! The little section at Jonathan and Olivia's is better than nothing, but still I want more.....

Fall wish list #1- Photography Class

This Fall, I really want to take a photography class. I should really get on that....unfortunately, I have to buy a camera, seeing as mine just stopped working out of no where. I also have a NYC trip planned for Nov, so a camera is a must have. Just one more item to add to my ever-growing wish list!

Fall Make-up Must Haves!!!!! 2009

Fall is here ladies, and we might as well embrace it!
Time to go through your make-up bages and get rid of any old/crusty make-up, (I know it's in there), wash your make-up brushes (should be done at least once a month) and switch from "summer mode" make-up, into fresh fall colours.
So the must have for fall 2009 are:

                                                                   LINER

Heavy liner is in this season. Use a black kohl for a smudged out look....or liquid for a more defined wing-tip.

PEACH BLUSH
Great for a fresh-faced look , that's not too "done".  Aveda discontinued my favourite in "Peach Lights". Any suggestions on a new replacement...make-up lovers????                                                              

 SOFTER SMOKEY EYE

The makeup application is still dramatic and glamorous, but the colours are softer. Try colours, instead of shades of greys and blacks

RED LIPS

Make-up artist Dick Page, says that "the colour red instantly illuminates your complexion". He's right! Find a shade that works for your skintone. As a staple, every woman should have their own "killer red" lipstick handy and ready to go.
