Iceland pics!

As promised, here is a few of my Iceland pics. My sister and I took a 8hr bus tour, called "The Golden Circle" . The tour took us to several spectacular places outside Reykjavik, waterfalls, geysers etc. Absolutely gorgeous. The landscape is like nothing I have ever seen before.....really a magical place.

p.s. When I was in one of the tourist shops in downtown Reykjavik, they had a t-shirt that said, "Iceland. Don't mess with us...we might not have the cash, but we have the ASH!" Too funny!

Over-view of the city.

Hotel Borg. This is were I'd like to stay the next time I go.

How cool is this lake?

This doesn't even look real!

Best "fish and chips". Organic!

Fav Iceland store....TIGER!

So, I'm back from Iceland! Had an Amazing time...(no sign of ash anywhere). If you ever have the chance to see this magical place, I highly recommend that you do so. I will definitely post some scenic prints of the island soon......but until them I wanted to share with you my favourite Iceland store, which is simple named Tiger. Tiger is actually based out of Denmark, but they have a few stores in Iceland and various other European countries. It sales the cutest things for around the house, as well as, grooming goods and candy! I'm on my way to work now, so I'll just leave you with these pics! So cute!!!

Off to Iceland

I had planned this trip way before the Volcano erupted and am determined not to miss this once in a lifetime opportunity. That's right folks, I'm going to Iceland! My youngest sister is going there for a month (much to my Mother's despair) to work on an organic barley farm in a remote part of the island. We decided that it would be fun to go a week ahead of time to check out the largest city Reykjavik. I will only be staying a week, but I'm sure that it will be an experience that I will never forget!

I can't wait to go to the "Blue Lagoon" hot springs!

S.
