Home Decor items that I'm lusting after.....

Now that Spring is finally here! Praise the Lord!!! I quickly realized that I haven't written any sort of "home decor" post in a while. So when I stumbled upon these coasters shaped like the Queen's head, I couldn't resist!

"Naked Decor's British Invasion's" Queen shaped coasters are perfect for when you are drinking tea and feeling all "posh".   :)
Especially, when you are drinking tea, feeling posh and watching the up-coming Royal wedding! Love it!

Anyone who knows me well, knows that I am obsessed with anything that has to do with crowns, London and well the UK in general! So, these coasters are a perfect fit for me!

Next up are these pillows from Lava. Also, on the AllModern website. I want the London and the Paris one for sure!!!

I also realized (when writing this post) that I am in need of some serious lighting for my new apartment. (I'm moving in May). Neither my boyfriend or I, have a really nice set of lamps. Here are some examples of styles that I really like. I'm sensing a serious shopping spree soon!!

What's your next Home Decor purchase going to be this Spring?

Celebrity Home Decor#1

If you're like me,.... you love to look inside the homes of celebrities. Especially, to see how they've decorated them. Here are a few pics of celeb and designers rooms that I just love. Hope you enjoy! It really makes me want to re-paint my whole apartment!!!

The first one is the living room of fashion model, Jessica Stam. I just love the colour palette..... SO pretty and fresh.

Next we have the living room of "Sex and the City" author, Candace Bushnell. Love a great bookcase! Not to mention that great chaise!

Here's what fashion designers Gilles Mendel's bedroom looks like. HOT!

Check out fashion designers Nanette Lapore's bedroom looks like. (This is my fave pic).

Lastly, we have celebrity hairstylist Frederic Fekkai's living room.

Lonny magazine....

So, if you have been following my blog for a while now, you know that I was deeply saddened by the closure of Domino magazine. It was my all-time favourite magazine. That being said, I was thrilled to discover that some of the former staff at Domino mag have created their own mag, Lonny.  Like, really did they create this mag just for me? It feels that way. I loved every page.
Lonny has the same great style as Domino, the major difference is that Lonny is an online publication. I do prefer holding and reading a magazine...not so into the on-line "flipping pages".....but nevertheless, I will take what I can get.
Stellsandco, really gives Lonny big props for a job well done!

Randoms- Home Decor

I haven't posted anything "home decor" related in a while. With fall around the corner, I need to feel inspired....I also would like to buy a few new things for around the house. I need to get my hands on the new IKEA catalogue (that's a must, for standard items around the apartment) and this Sunday, I think that I will head down to the St.Lawrence antique market. I found some lovely book-ends last time. Anyways, these inspiring pictures will keep me going until then. I want this mirror. So grand!I love how the black wall-paper and furnishings add such drama to this bedroom. I would need a bigger bed though!I've been feeling lately like I would like to get an antique sideboard. Teak! . There's so many things that I love about this picture. This really could be my living room. Love the antique suitcase as a coffee table. Another good use for a suitcase! (I posted previously about using smaller suitcases as a bedside table). The couch, the pillows....I need it all!!! JOY Be inspired, xo, S.
