NYC-good eats and sexy lips.

Wow....

I feel like it has been forever since I've posted a blog on my little baby. I have so much that I want to write about and share, since being back from NYC. But today, since my Internet is still on the fritz (damn you Bell), I'm going to mention two things that really blew me away.

The first being a FANTASTIC Mexican restaurant in Soho, that a friend of mine took me to. Dos Caminos is by far one of the best restaurants that I have been to in a long time. They have three locations in NYC, I dined in the Soho location....TWICE!!! Because we all love it so much! They're known for their guacamole...(the best) and I have to say that we ordered quite a few dishes on the menu, and not one disappointed. I loved the white Sangria as well. I've been told it is one of Julia Roberts favourite NY hangout and I can totally see why.

Stells and co. gives Dos Caminos two huge thumbs up. Go there, eat and be merry.

The other thing that I want to mention is an amazing lipstick that I picked up in Bloomingdales.

I was shopping along Broadway and happened to see Bloomingdales and thought..."hey, why not?"

In the cosmetic department, they have a special "Space Nk" section, that carries certain lines only available in Space Nk stores. (Mostly British). One line that I came across was "Lipstick Queen".

I purchased a fabulous lipstick named "Medieval". It looked like a really dark red, but when I put it on, it was a sheer, moisturising cherry lip stain. All I have to say is GORGEOUS!!!!

Lipstick Queen is not available in Toronto. Strangely enough there is one store in Burlington that carries it, as well as, one in Halifax. Plenty of stores in the U.S. and the U.K. do. Check it out, I was pleasantly surprised on the quality and colour. Plus, it feels good to support a smaller company with so much passion.

I will have more posts on NYC coming soon. Right now I need to wash my face, put on plenty of eye cream and get some beauty sleep.
