Batiste Dry Shampoo

If you've been reading StellsandCo for a while now, you may know of my obsession with Batiste Dry Shampoo.  I've been using the original Batiste for well over a year now, and I was so pleased to see that more of the other scents are making their way into Canada!

So far Shoppers Drug Mart carries the "Original", "Tropical" and "Blush" scents. Other scents like:  "Diva" and "Boho" and tones such as :Dark Brown, Blonde, Medium Brown are available online at http://www.farleyco.ca/ 

I was eager to try the "Blush" scent since it;s the only one (at Shoppers DM) that I have yet to try. I LOVE the soft, powdery, subtle floral scent that is "Blush". (The "Tropical" one was a little strong for me personally, great for people who love fruity scents). I will definitely be buying the "Blush" scent once I run out of this one!

The "Boho" scent is stronger than the "Blush" but for me it is something I would use when I'm going out on the weekends and what that fun, musky, sweet scent. Love it!

I also have the "Medium Brown" tone Batiste. I love that you can now purchase this line that has a hint of colour. While this product is AMAZING for brunettes, I wish that they had one for Redheads, so I could get the full effect.

Stellsandco really recommends Batiste for people who are trying not to wash their hair everyday, need a little volume or want to prolong their blowout. Because really, who wants to be blow drying their hair everyday in this heat?

We\ve all heard the sad news by now.....Amy Winehouse dead at the young age of 27. I've been a fan of Amy's for years now. Loved her unique style and her immense talent.  She tried to fight her demons, but the demons won. She will be missed.

Birthday Fairy Wish list #1

My birthday is next week.....and \i was joking that I wish that there was "birthday fairies" that would magically drop off all the gifts that you'd want. Some people would call this a "Sugar Daddy", but whatever this is my Birthday Fairy Wish list #1 :

Kielh's Musk Lotion and Body wash

I've worn this lotion daily for years now, and I still love it!!! Haven't tried the body wash yet so, I'd really love to!

 I'd also REALLY want a pair of these Raybans. The "New Wayfarers" style is at the top of my list! Please birthday fairy....bring me some sunglasses!

Harper Seven Beckham

Victoria Beckham gave birth to her fourth child on July 10th, 2011. David and Victoria named their little girl "Harper Seven".

Speculation, is that Harper is after Victoria's love for Harpers Bazaar fashion magazine and Seven is after David's team number when he palyed for Manchester United.

I can't wait to see what little Harper looks like! No doubt she will be the most fashionable baby around!!

This is a picture that David took of the very pregnant Victoria.

I have to say that I love Victoria with a little more weight on her. Pregnacy suits her....I hope that she doesn't get too skinny again!!!

Ash shoes

One of my clients came into the salon the other day with the cutest sandals on. Of course, before we could talk about her new haircut, I HAD to know where she bought her sandals from. Now without fail, (9 times out of 10) when I ask someone where they bought their top, handbags, shoes etc. from, it does NOT come from a store in Canada. Dislike!
Anyways, my stylish client had gone across the border shopping in Detroit and the company that made her fab sandals was called ASH.

Kate Moss's Wedding

Wow...there was a lot of us waiting for a while now to see what Kate Moss's wedding dress would look like. And she certainly didn't disappoint! We knew it would be designed by John Galliano, (her long time friend). Who I believe was absent from the wedding...I could be wrong?
I pretty much pictured Kate to wear her hair like she did...very free and flowy. It suits her. Anyways, here are the pics for those who haven't seen them already.
