Carven

One label that I've totally fallen in love with is the French label Carven.
Carven has been around since the 1940's, but it must have gone under some sort of revival recently, because I;m starting to see more and more of it;s fashions advertised.

This cropped leather jacket is so cute! Love the colour!!

I seriously can`t handle how much I LOVE this tartan dress!!!

Ash shoes

One of my clients came into the salon the other day with the cutest sandals on. Of course, before we could talk about her new haircut, I HAD to know where she bought her sandals from. Now without fail, (9 times out of 10) when I ask someone where they bought their top, handbags, shoes etc. from, it does NOT come from a store in Canada. Dislike!
Anyways, my stylish client had gone across the border shopping in Detroit and the company that made her fab sandals was called ASH.

Stella Tennant for Reed Krakoff

Love the imagery of the latest Reed Krakoff advertisements, featuring English beauty, Stella Tennant.
First of all.....love her hair!(It's kinda chopped off in this pic, but trust me, it looks amazing). Yes, being a hairstylist.....this is the first thing that I look at. Love the dark hue and short cut.

Secondly, I love the bag and gold dress she's wearing. I had seen this ad before, but didn't realize that Reed Krakoff is the mastermind behind catapulting "Couch" into a billion dollar company. Now, he's branching out, (under his own name) and creating a ready to wear line of clothing, shoes and handbags. Looks like his minimalistic creations have been well received by the fashion crowd.

Finally, I LOVE the wallpaper in the background of this ad. I would totally do a powder room in this print! Really, I can't stop thinking about this wallpaper.....I want to get my hands on some!!!

The Stiletto is red hot. Worn by many celebrities on the red carpet this season..... It's a great way to make your legs look AMAZING!!!! Especially if you can get your hands on some Louboutins!!!

Amazing shoe store

My internet is finally up and running, after a week of it not working. So, I'm finally able to post again!
I was in Montreal over Easter weekend, (I love that city) and stumbled upon many great stores. I love Simons, a super cool department store.... with locations only in Quebec. I bought an amazing necklace and earrings there....as well as a couple tops. I was surprised to discover that Simons doesn't have a shoe section. I found that a little odd. Anyways, speaking of shoes.... I did venture into a store on St-Denis that had an amazing selection of flats, heels and boots. "Scarpa" has two locations, one on St-Denis and the other on Sherbrooke. I wasn't able to find a website....pretty sure that they don't have one. But next time you're in Montreal, seriously check out this store. I could have done some serious damage if it wasn't for my boyfriend literally taking my hand and leading me out of the store! :)
